The Historic District Landmarks Commission (HDLC) of New Orleans and the Central Business District (CBD) will hold their meetings at a different location today. The change is due to budget hearings taking place in the City Council Chambers.
According to an announcement from the City of New Orleans, those planning to attend the CBD HDLC meeting should set their course for new coordinates across the street from City Hall, specifically the 1340 Poydras Street address, settling high on the 21st floor. The change was announced via the city's own news release, published the day before. The time slots for civic engagement remain unchanged, with the CBD HDLC opening its discourse at 10:00 a.m., while the New Orleans HDLC follows suit at 1:00 p.m.
The meetings will allow the public to provide input on the preservation and development of New Orleans’ historic buildings.
