The department now boasts 20 aerial devices dedicated to serving the city, with Tower 17 and Ladder 20 as the latest additions to their capabilities. In tandem with these developments, Engine 17 has been re-designated as Engine 47, currently operating out of Firehouse 41, while awaiting the completion of the new Firehouse 47.
