Donald C. Dakin, aged 74, was identified as the victim who perished after his northbound journey on Jeffery Road led to disaster. According to Local 12, Dakin veered off the right side of the road with his 2021 International MV607 box truck, overcorrected, and subsequently overturned, colliding with an embankment on the opposite side.
