Clayton County is gearing up for seasonal festivities with their upcoming Winter Wonderland event. Hosted by Clayton County Parks and Recreation, alongside Chairwoman Dr. Alieka Anderson-Henry, and Parks and Recreation Director Nicole Horne, the community is invited to enjoy an evening of holiday cheer on December 20. The event will take place at Clayton County International Park, as indicated on the county's official announcement.
From 5 p.m. to 9 p.m., attendees can lace up their skates and hit the ice for a $10 fee, while surrounding themselves with inflatable carnival games, among other purchasable attractions. However, the highlight of the evening promises to be a drone show, which will be free of charge and set to begin at 7 p.m., a detail emphasized by the county's news release.
Located at 2300 Walt Stephens Road, Jonesboro, GA 30236, Clayton County International Park is no stranger to hosting large events, and the Winter Wonderland evening seems to be another opportunity for the community to come together and create memorable experiences. "Join Clayton County Parks and Recreation for Winter Wonderland with Chairwoman Dr. Alieka Anderson-Henry and Parks and Recreation Director Nicole Horne," invites the county's announcement.
