Once again, the Kiwanis Club of East Fork Region has brought their tradition of honoring service members to the forefront in Clermont County, Ohio. The annual Fields of Honor event, now marking its fifth year, boasts a patriotic landscape with 400 American flags displayed across the county. The poignant sights can be witnessed at four locations, including the Clermont County Sheriff’s Office, West Clermont High School, Old Williamsburg High School, and Bethel-Tate Middle School, as was shared in a social media post from the Clermont County, Ohio - Government.
Each flag stands as a tribute to someone who serves or has served—honoring not only military personnel but also those who ensure our safety closer to home. The involvement of students in planting these flags provides an opportunity to actively participate and take a direct role in this communal expression of gratitude. The initiative educates young minds on the importance of civic duty and the spirit of community service.
