The Collierville Police Department is investigating five St. George’s Independent School students in connection with two reported sexual assaults on the campus, according to multiple local news outlets. Action News 5 reported that a victim came forward last Tuesday about an incident that allegedly took place on September 12, which is believed to involve the same suspect connected to another assault reported on November 5.
According to information from Collierville police, WREG stated that the first assault was disclosed to school officials on November 5 and occurred in the athletics building after school hours. Several students were expelled following the allegations.
Additionally, FOX13 Memphis said that Olive Branch police made several arrests, including 18-year-old Bryant Swing on a charge of tampering with evidence and Nakesah Rockette on charges of conspiracy and accessory after the fact. Authorities in Collierville and Olive Branch have not confirmed whether Swing is directly connected to the sexual assault allegations.
Collierville Police are continuing to review the cases involving the primary suspect and two other students. With limited information available due to the involvement of minors, local news outlets are providing updates as they can.
