DeKalb County police are investigating a double stabbing in Stone Mountain that left two people hospitalized after an altercation. According to FOX 5 Atlanta, the incident occurred on the 2000 block of Scarbrough Trail East. Authorities have not released details about the cause of the dispute or the suspect’s identity but said more information will be shared as the investigation continues.
Police confirmed that the victims knew the suspect and that the stabbing resulted from a disagreement among acquaintances. Atlanta News First reported that trick-or-treaters were seen near the scene as officers worked to gather evidence.
