The Detroit Police Department is requesting the public's assistance in locating a missing 27-year-old man named Amario Summers. According to ClickOnDetroit, Summers was last seen leaving his Castleton Street residence on Sunday, driving a black Jeep Grand Cherokee. His destination was reportedly a nearby gas station, but he never returned home.
There is currently no information on what Summers was wearing at the time he departed. He is described as being 6′6″ tall, with a weight of 170 lbs, brown eyes, and black hair. Distinctive marks include a tattoo above his left eye and another unidentified tattoo on his neck. Summers is also reported to have autism and epilepsy, which may add to the urgency of his situation, as reported by his wife.
The urgency of the case is punctuated by a social media post from the department. The post pleads for assistance: "Please help us find serious missing Amario Summers. If you have any information, please call the Detroit Police Department's 2nd Precinct at 313-596-5240." This was shared on the official page of the Detroit Police Department's Missing Persons yesterday, as found via their Facebook post.
