The holiday spirit is coming to downtown Chandler with the "Road to Riches Santa at City Hall Car Show & Holiday Market," a community event offering a mix of festive fun and flashy vehicles. According to the City of Chandler, Slated for Saturday, Dec. 13, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., the event, a collaboration between the City of Chandler and the BAM Foundation, takes over the City Hall Parking Garage at 240 S. Washington St.
This free event brings together the community with an array of activities, including the opportunity to admire a collection of impressive show cars. Locals can get an early start on their holiday shopping with unique finds from local vendors or enjoy some bites from local food trucks. A live DJ will be setting the mood, and families can partake in arts and crafts for the kids, and yes, there will be opportunities for photos with Santa, with prints and digital images available for purchase.
For those who want to showcase their vehicles, registration is open online at the event website with a fee of $25 per car, subject to a processing fee. The event not only brings joy to attendees but also serves a higher purpose, as proceeds go to the Chandler Public Housing Authority’s Road to Riches program. Community nonprofits seeking exposure can reach out to the BAM Foundation for a chance to have an informational booth at the event.
