El Paso residents are looking at a mix of clouds and sunshine over the next few days, with temperatures ranging in the mid to high 60s, according to the National Weather Service. Any lingering clouds this morning will give way to clearer skies with a high near 69 degrees. The breeze could kick up a bit with east winds hitting 13 mph and gusts topping out at around 20 mph.
However, the clear skies aren't set to last through the night. There's a 40 percent chance of rain showers after 1 am, the NWS forecasts. Those planning to be out late might want to take a jacket as temperatures drop to around 50 degrees and the east winds continue, gusting as high as 29 mph before decreasing slightly after midnight.
Looking ahead to Sunday, El Paso will shine under sunny skies, with highs expected to be near 66 degrees. The NWS reports that the west wind will stay between 6 to 10 mph, and gusts may reach up to 18 mph. Sunday night will also remain mostly clear, with lows dipping to about 44 degrees.
The start of the week appears to stay consistently sunny with highs again in the mid-60s and light west winds. Come Wednesday, the pattern persists with an anticipated high of 64 degrees and gentle east northeast breezes. As for Thanksgiving Day, families can anticipate pleasant conditions for the holiday, with sunny skies and highs near 65 degrees, a lovely setup for those planning outdoor festivities.
