A tragic incident unfolded yesterday on the 100 block of El Camino Real, where a 78-year-old woman's life came to an abrupt end following a solo vehicle collision into a building. The San Bruno Police Department reported that the accident occurred at approximately 10:40 AM, and the driver was consequently transported to a local hospital. Sadly, she did not survive the injuries sustained.
The preliminary investigation led by officers of the San Bruno Police Department does not indicate the involvement of drugs or alcohol; however, the crash is still being investigated by the North County Major Accident Investigation Team (MAIT) to ascertain the definitive cause.
