A mobile home fire in Davie killed one person early this morning. Firefighters responded around 7:30 a.m. to a single-wide home at 8520 SW 21st Court that was fully engulfed in flames, NBC Miami reports.
Local 10 reports that neighbors attempted to rescue the man, but the fire was too intense. The victim was found in a bathtub and pronounced dead at the scene. No other injuries were reported.
The cause of the fire is under investigation by the State Fire Marshal’s Office, Davie Fire Rescue, and Davie Police. The victim’s identity has not been released.
