The incident occurred on the afternoon of Friday, November 7, on Louisiana Highway 14 just east of Pirates Lane.
While the details remain sparse, the preliminary investigation suggests that involved was a 2003 Ford Crown Victoria heading east and a 2023 Cadillac Escalade traveling in the opposite direction. In a moment of calamity captured on the small bridge, one vehicle strayed across the centerline, resulting in a head-on collision. The aftermath saw the drivers and passengers from both parties sustaining varying degrees of injury. Two other individuals from the Ford and the Cadillac were transported to nearby hospitals; their conditions have not been publicized.
