A male pedestrian was fatally struck by multiple vehicles while on the eastbound highway, just west of the Bernard Street exit. The emergency units discovered the victim unconscious and without a pulse, pronouncing him dead at the scene, according to a report from the St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department.
