If you’re visiting City of Flagstaff facilities, be sure to check the holiday hours. The Downtown and East Flagstaff libraries will also close early Wednesday and remain closed Thursday and Friday, along with the Hal Jensen Recreation Center and the Joe C. Montoya Community & Senior Center. The city has shared full hours for anyone who needs more details.

The Cinder Lake Landfill, Hazardous Products Center, and Materials Recovery Facility will all be closed on Thanksgiving and the next day. Thursday’s trash pickup will happen on Friday, Nov. 28, and containers should be out by 6 a.m. Friday’s regular pickups won’t change. There will be no commercial trash or recycling service on Thanksgiving, but commercial collections will be spread out over the rest of the week, as reported by the City of Flagstaff.

Citizens Cemetery will be closed on Thanksgiving and the day after. The Jay Lively Activity Center will close on Thanksgiving but reopen on Friday with its usual programs, as per the City of Flagstaff.
