Flagstaff is seeking residents to join its new 10-member Technology Privacy Task Force, which will review city tech policies and help shape how personal data is protected. Applicants from all backgrounds are welcome, whether they are business owners, advocates, legal experts, or simply passionate about digital rights, according to the City of Flagstaff.
The city wants the task force to reflect the diversity of the community and include voices from all corners of Flagstaff. This is an opportunity for residents to have a direct impact on how the city manages and safeguards personal information, as reported by the City of Flagstaff.
The City of Flagstaff is forming a task force to review technology policies, evaluate new systems, and make recommendations on how the City handles residents’ data. Applications are open until December 5 and the selection committee will review them the following week. The task force will hold its first meeting in January 2026. Interested individuals can contact IT Director CJ Perry at [email protected] or apply through the City’s provided link.
