The City of Germantown will install its annual Christmas tree at City Hall. According to the city’s announcement, the tree will be delivered tomorrow, and parking in the area will be temporarily affected.
The tree installation at City Hall will require a large tractor-trailer and heavy equipment, closing surrounding parking from 5 p.m. today until noon tomorrow. Visitors needing access to City Hall tomorrow should use the alternative lot north of the building near the Economic and Community Development offices.
The partial closure will affect the City Hall parking lot. Left turns from the Farmington entrance will be restricted, and parking will not be allowed in the south area near Germantown Road, as per the city's announcement.
The city asks for patience during the tree installation, which involves large equipment and may disrupt usual traffic and parking. The parking lot will reopen once the tree is in place.
