The Germantown Police Department released its latest weekly activity report detailing multiple thefts and related crimes across the area. According to the City of Germantown website, merchandise thefts occurred in the 7700 and 9200 blocks of Poplar Avenue, the 2000 block of West Street, and Farmington Boulevard, with arrests made in some cases.
Police also responded to reports of unwanted contact, threats, and physical altercations, including one incident in the 1800 block of Dragonfly Cove. Additional reports included identity theft, false identification, and vehicle break-ins, though no items were taken in the latter.
Authorities made an arrest for unlawful firearm possession in the 7600 block of Poplar Pike. Property thefts from businesses and a fraudulent package retrieval were also documented on Exeter Road and Poplar Avenue.
