The Glendale community has been struck by a harrowing event as a family was held at gunpoint during a home invasion. The Glendale Police Department, as reported by FOX 10 Phoenix, has requested the public's assistance in identifying the vehicle involved in the August 31 incident which occurred around 11:30 p.m. near 57th and Missouri avenues. Three suspects are alleged to have entered the home forcibly and to have held the family at gunpoint, taking several undisclosed items.
On a closely related note, a surveillance video captured on November 5 at approximately 6:50 p.m., which was detailed in an article by AZ Family, shows three men believed to be the same suspects, arriving at a residence in the same vicinity. In the footage, a suspect is seen hastily running to the porch and forcefully kicking the door open, a silver gun visibly in hand. Companions of the armed man appear to also be involved, with one attempting to also kick down the door and another following up the steps.
The severity of the situation was underscored by the Glendale police affirming that two adults and two children were held at gunpoint during the intrusion. The circumstances were further dire as one victim was in fact grazed by a bullet. "About 15 minutes later, the suspects are seen leaving the home, and multiple victims can be heard yelling from inside," as detailed by AZ Family. The suspects left the scene in a vehicle later described as a silver Acura TL.
