YAM Properties, the company behind Glendale’s Westgate Entertainment District, plans to expand with several new restaurants and retailers. According to abc15, the district aims to add four to five new restaurants over the next 18 months, covering about 50,000 square feet of space. The effort is being led in partnership with Western Retail Advisors.

Charles Skaggs from Western Retail Advisors said the collaboration focuses on strengthening Westgate’s position as a key shopping and entertainment destination. Recent renovations have included updates such as an upgraded splash pad, a new permanent stage at Fountain Park, and fresh exterior paint across the property.

RestaurantNews.com reported that the partnership combines YAM’s management strategies with Western Retail Advisors’ market expertise to attract new tenants. Marta Kenny, YAM Properties Director of Operations, told Restaurant News that the improvements are designed to enhance the district’s focus on family and fun.

Westgate Entertainment District, located near State Farm Stadium and Desert Diamond Casino, currently has a 98% lease rate across 15 buildings. Available spaces range from 1,200 to 18,250 square feet. With a growing population of more than 371,000 residents within five miles, the area’s demographics are expected to support the district’s continued growth.
