A Greenacres woman encountered a rude awakening Tuesday when she discovered her purse, car keys, and about 40 credit cards had disappeared along with her 2023 Kia Telluride. The booking information listed bond amounts for some of the charges, with two counts set at $5,000 each, although no bond was listed for the burglary of the occupied dwelling charge.

After the arrest, the vehicle was spotted on I-95 in Boca Raton, and Mott was detained around 12:30 p.m., when the car he was driving pulled into the gas station, law enforcement officials, swiftly bringing an end to the sequence of events that had unfolded since the early hours of the morning according to a statement obtained by CBS12. The Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office has not disclosed further details on the investigation or any potential accomplices in the crime spree perpetrated by Mott.
