Gresham Police have made an arrest following a deadly altercation earlier this month at a video lottery establishment in Gresham. On November 6, officers were called to the scene near Southeast 182nd Avenue and Southeast Powell Boulevard, where 35-year-old David Lomas was found unconscious in the parking lot. Lomas was later pronounced dead at a local hospital, with an autopsy confirming his death was due to blunt force trauma, as reported by KATU.
Investigators quickly determined that Lomas had been involved in a fight with Richard Henderson, also 35, just moments before he collapsed. Following the lead, this morning, authorities swiftly moved to arrest Henderson at his residence on the 200 block of Southeast Vista Avenue. He is now facing second-degree manslaughter charges, a detail shared by KGW.
