The Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office is actively seeking assistance from the public to identify a woman involved in a theft at a Lake Worth Beach gas station last month. According to a report from CBS12, the theft occurred on October 24, around 7:20 a.m. at the Chevron station located at the 600 block of South Dixie Highway.
The suspect is described as a white female with brownish-blonde hair, adorned with visible tattoos. She was last seen wearing blue shorts, a black sleeveless top, and to complete her look, was carrying a black satchel with a distinctive yellow flower pattern. The Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office is hoping to leverage the community's help to quickly locate and identify the suspect. Witnesses or individuals with knowledge pertaining to the theft or the suspect's identity are encouraged to reach out to Detective Holsonback directly at [email protected] or, for those wishing to maintain their anonymity, to contact Crime Stoppers at 1-800-458-TIPS (8477), as detailed by Boca Raton Tribune.
Surveillance footage obtained by authorities shows the suspect as she nonchalantly selected and to then walk away with multiple items, without any intention of rendering payment. Detailed descriptions of the suspect's tattoos on her left bicep, right bicep, and right leg were released in hopes of facilitating identification.
While the authorities seek help to solve this petty crime, they also remind the public of their "CONNECT & PROTECT" app, which can be used to securely submit tips about this incident or others. The app is available for both Apple and Android devices and represents an effort to strengthen community ties through modern technology.
