The Horizon City Police Department recently reported an arrest involving drugs after a proactive patrol turned into a traffic stop on Tuesday morning. Anthony Mena, 29, was detained after authorities intercepted a strong scent of marijuana emanating from his vehicle, leading to a search and subsequent arrest.
The incident took place in the 13600 block of Eastlake Blvd in Horizon City, where police were conducting routine patrols. According to the Horizon City Police Department via social media post, Mena now faces charges of possession of a controlled substance PG 1 (1–4 grams) and possession of marijuana.
