Jonesboro residents and those in nearby communities will soon have the chance to learn how to protect their assets, thanks to a new city initiative. The City of Jonesboro recently announced a “Lunch & Learn: Insurance Workshops” series aimed at highlighting the importance of proactive estate planning. The workshops are part of a wider effort to educate the public on safeguarding their financial legacies.
Set for the back-to-back Wednesdays of Nov. 19 and Nov. 26, these Zoom workshops will run from noon to 1 p.m. Whitley Crawford leads the sessions, the first being open to all interested parties and the latter reserved for the business community. Registration is a click away for those who wish to gain insights into the role of insurance in estate planning. According to information gleaned from the county's website, these workshops aim to be both educational and accessible.
The workshops are free, making it easy for community members to participate. Interested attendees can secure their spot by completing the pre-registration form linked in the county’s announcement. Once registered, participants will receive the Zoom link required to join the sessions on the scheduled dates.
