Residents and commuters in Las Cruces are gearing up for a fresh set of shoulder work closures due to a Wire Utility Project slated to take place this November. City officials have announced that from Monday, November 3, through Friday, November 14, there will be a significant impact on certain streets in City Council District 6, according to the City of Las Cruces.
Those driving through the area can expect to quickly learn new routes as Camino Coyote Lane between N Roadrunner Pkwy and East Paseo De Dia, along with Paseo De Dia Loop between Camino Coyote West and Camino Coyote East, will experience closures during the construction period. To minimize the inconvenience, construction crews will work from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday to Friday, ensuring evenings and weekends are free from construction activity.
The city has made it clear that access to both residences and businesses will be maintained throughout the duration of the project. Motorists in Las Cruces are being urged to follow all posted signs to navigate the changes to their daily commutes safely.
