Las Cruces high school students, get your art supplies ready because the Branigan Cultural Center is now accepting applications for its 2026 Annual All-City High School Art Show. This year's event promises to showcase the artistic talents of juniors and seniors from a variety of schooling backgrounds, including public, private, charter, and homeschooling within the region.
Starting November 10, students have been given the chance to submit their artwork in numerous categories ranging from painting to digital art. The submission process features a new twist this year. All entries are to be original works, firmly prohibiting AI-generated content, according to the City of Las Cruces.
Creativity isn't the only perk of entering; participants will vie for the opportunity to win Best in Show, First Place, and Second Place awards, complete with monetary prizes. Art class enrollment isn't a prerequisite, letting any qualified high schooler in Las Cruces flex their artistic muscles. Just make sure to follow the rules; submissions close January 23, 2026, at precisely 6 p.m. Mountain Time.
