Construction work is set to tighten its grip on several streets in the city starting next week. According to the City of Las Cruces, shoulder work closures due to a wire utility permit will roll out Monday, December 1, through Friday, December 19. This temporary hiccup will occur weekdays from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., providing a clear run for residents on evenings and weekends.
Travelers navigating through City Council District 6 should expect alterations to their routes. Percha Creek Way, Cave Creek Manor, Bubbling Wells Court, and Dry Creek Place will see restrictions. Roadrunner Parkway is also on the list, all falling under the umbrella of the impending constructions. Commuters, take note, downtown dalliances and uptown undertakings will need to be meticulously planned around these adjustments.
For the local denizens and the purveyors of commerce within these zones, worry not. The official word, as per the City of Las Cruces, is that ingress to homes and businesses shall remain unimpeded. While the hum of machinery may echo through streets, the heartbeat of daily life is expected to persist, uninterrupted.
