The City of Lewisville is on the hunt for a fresh and vibrant logo to represent its 2026 ColorPalooza event, and it's calling on the creativity of its youth. According to the City of Lewisville, the city officials are inviting students residing in Lewisville to enter the logo design contest.
Local young artists currently enrolled in grades 9-12, whether they're attending public or private schools, or even those who are home-schooled in Lewisville, are eligible to submit their designs. The contest deadline is set for 11:59 p.m., Sunday, Nov. 9, and contenders can fill out an entry form available online. Once submissions close, a panel of professional judges hailing from the design and marketing industries will evaluate the entries. The winning design will not only earn the honor of being the 2026 ColorPalooza's official logo, showcased across all event promotions and merchandise, but the creator will be rewarded for their ingenuity and talent. This year's prize includes a notable $1,500 scholarship courtesy of the Greater Lewisville Arts Alliance, an increment of $500 from the previous year's award.
The winner's scholarship is purposed to help fund further education after high school, whether it's a college, university, institute, or trade school tuition. Payments will be made directly in the student's name to the chosen institution.
