In Madisonville, a shoplifting call led to a drug bust by local police. The Madisonville Police Department's Facebook page reported that officers arrested David Beasley of Etowah, TN, after seizing over 35 grams of suspected crystal meth, more than 6 grams of suspected fentanyl, Xanax pills, and nearly $2,000 in cash.
Beasley faces multiple charges, including sale and delivery of methamphetamine and fentanyl, possession of Xanax, and tampering with evidence. Patrolman Blaine Kennedy was recognized for his role in the investigation. The total street value of the seized substances was not specified.
