Tragedy struck on the streets of Atlanta when, yesterday, November 29, police were summoned to the scene of a shooting at approximately 12:07 p.m. Authorities discovered a man, who has yet to be identified, with a lethal gunshot wound in the parking lot of 3050 Martin Luther King Jr Dr SW. Despite immediate medical attention, the victim's wounds proved fatal; he was pronounced dead at the scene by emergency personnel.
The Atlanta Police Department swiftly arrived at the location after receiving the call. Found lying in the parking lot, the victim received emergency care from Grady EMS, but to no avail. As reported by the Atlanta Police Department's news release, "Despite lifesaving efforts, the male was pronounced deceased on scene by Grady EMS." The incident has since been escalated to homicide investigators, who are actively piecing together the events that led up to the shooting.
