A shooting in DeKalb County yesterday left one man injured, and the DeKalb County Police Department is investigating. Officers responded to the 500 block of Whitney Chase in unincorporated Stone Mountain after reports of gunfire and found the victim inside a white Jeep with multiple gunshot wounds, according to FOX 5 Atlanta.
Authorities have not released the identity or condition of the victim as the investigation continues. As per 11Alive, the victim was transported to a hospital, but their current condition has not been made public.
Authorities continue to seek information about the shooting. The DeKalb County Police Department is asking anyone with tips to come forward. Residents can submit information anonymously using the DeKalb County PD Tip411 app or by texting "DKPD" to 847411 followed by their message, as reported by FOX 5 Atlanta.
