Massachusetts has launched a new campaign aimed at reducing vaping among young adults aged 18–24. Funded by a settlement with Juul Labs, Inc., the initiative, titled "This Ad Won’t Make You Quit Vaping," is led by the Department of Public Health and the Massachusetts Attorney General's Office, according to the Department of Public Health press release.

The campaign targets digital platforms such as Meta, TikTok, and YouTube, where young adults are active. As per the release, it promotes resources to help users quit vaping, including the Massachusetts Quitline, which offers trained coaches, personalized quit plans, and free nicotine replacement products such as gums and patches. Users can access the Quitline by texting "Start" to 36072.

Data from the Massachusetts Behavioral Risk Factor Surveillance System shows that 14 percent of young adults in the state vape. The campaign also provides information in Spanish to reach a broader audience.
