The MBTA Transit Police are seeking public assistance in locating a suspect wanted in connection with a rape and strangulation incident that occurred on September 26 in Widette Circle, Boston.
According to a post from the MBTA Transit Police official X account, an arrest warrant has been issued for a suspect identified as Jon Brent Dyer. Dyer, born on August 13, 1967, is 6 feet tall and weighs 185 pounds.

Authorities are asking anyone with information to contact the Criminal Investigation Unit at 617-222-1050. If seen, the suspect should not be approached—instead, witnesses should call 911 or MBTA Transit Police at 617-222-1212.
