
Monumental Baptist Church, located at 704 South Parkway East in Memphis, was the site of a reported burglary. The Memphis Police Department responded to the incident last Friday, arriving at the scene around 4:53 p.m. The burglary was recorded by the church’s surveillance system.
Footage showed a suspect wearing a dark-colored hoodie, light-colored pants, white shoes, and a green beanie breaking into the church. The individual took a small collection of power tools, valued at approximately $200, and then left the church premises in an undetermined direction.
The Memphis Police Department is asking for public assistance in identifying the individual responsible for the incident. Anyone with information that could help with the identification or arrest is encouraged to come forward. Residents and businesses in the area are also being asked to review any security footage that may have captured the suspect’s movements.
