The Memphis Safe Task Force reported significant results from its October operations, according to data from the U.S. Marshals Service. According to Action News 5, a total of 1,862 arrests were made, including 132 known gang members. The arrests covered various offenses, including 10 for homicide, 203 for narcotics, 162 for firearms, and 56 for sex offenses. Authorities also executed 813 warrants, made 319 administrative arrests, and 297 other arrests.
FOX13 Memphis noted that not all charges were disclosed in the report.
The U.S. Marshals reported the seizure of 313 firearms during the month, reflecting continued enforcement efforts against illegal weapons in the city.
Additionally, 88 missing children were recovered in October, according to WREG.
