Mid-Missouri will undergo roadworks and maintenance from Monday next week through November 23. Lane closures and detours are expected across multiple counties, and weather may affect scheduling. Motorists are advised to use caution and consider alternate routes, according to the Missouri Department of Transportation (MoDOT).

In Boone County, work includes core drilling on U.S. Route 63, roundabout construction on Business Loop 70, pedestrian facility upgrades on Routes E, V, and TT, and closures at the Route K and Old Plank Road intersection. U.S. Route 63 may also have detours due to interchange improvements at Route AC and bridge rehabilitation. North Outer Road 70 is closed for a culvert extension near Little Cedar Creek.

In Camden County, U.S. Route 54 is undergoing pavement widening. In Cole County, U.S. Route 50 is seeing pedestrian facility upgrades affecting turn lanes. Callaway County will have a traffic shift on I-70 and closures of South Outer Road 70 (Jade Road) and North Outer Road 70 (Old U.S. Route 40) for culvert replacements. Ongoing I-70 improvements will continue with lane restrictions through 2027.

Bridge rehabilitation and replacement projects are scheduled in several counties, including Route J over Boone Creek in Crawford County and Route 47 over Mill Creek in Washington County. Additional culvert replacements and roadside work are planned in Howard, Laclede, Maries, and other counties, with pedestrian facility upgrades in Rolla, Newburg, Richland, and Dixon.

Missouri Department of Transportation advises drivers to travel carefully, watch for slow-moving equipment, and follow detour signs. Detailed schedules and detour information are available on the MoDOT website.
