Tonight, the city could see a 40 percent chance of rain after 10 p.m. and patchy fog is expected between 8 p.m. and 9 p.m. The nighttime will bring more clouds and a low around 42, with calm winds persisting. Tuesday promises to be wet, with a strong 80 percent chance of precipitation and light winds turning west, which could reach up to 25 mph in gusts. Rain totals between a tenth and quarter of an inch are possible.
Conditions are set to take a wintry turn Tuesday night as snow possibly mixed with rain will transition to all snow after 11 p.m., coupled with patchy blowing snow. Wednesday will see a 30 percent chance of snow before noon and patchy blowing snow before 4 p.m. The skies will remain mostly cloudy as temperatures struggle to a high near 30, while blustery conditions persist with northwest winds of 15 to 20 mph and gusts up to 30 mph. The evening mellow slightly with mostly cloudy conditions and a low around 20 degrees as west-northwest winds continue blowing at 10 to 15 mph.
The weather may provide a small respite on Thanksgiving Day, which is forecasted to be mostly sunny with a high near 27 degrees and lighter west-northwest winds around 10 mph. Thursday night's outlook is partly cloudy with a low around 14, while Friday will be partly sunny, reaching a high near 27 again. Winds will change direction, coming from the west-northwest before switching to the south-southeast in the afternoon.
Over the weekend, residents can expect more snow chances. Friday night has a 30 percent chance of snow starting after midnight. The low is anticipated to be around 19 degrees with an east wind around 5 mph. Saturday will also have a 30 percent chance of snow, a mostly cloudy sky, and a high near 28 degrees. The forecast calls for mostly cloudy conditions and a low around 18 degrees on Saturday night, with a continued 20 percent chance of snow, which extends into Sunday with a high near 25 degrees and north-northwest winds of 5 to 10 mph.
