The Morgan Hill Police Department has issued a warning regarding a spate of thefts targeting Dodge Hellcats and other high-performance Dodge vehicles in the Bay Area, noting an increase in armed theft in the Paradise Valley and La Crosse Drive areas. According to a social media post from the Morgan Hill Police Department, these thefts are becoming more frequent, and residents who own these types of vehicles are being urged to garage them if possible for added protection.
In their online statement, the Morgan Hill Police emphasized the importance of community vigilance and safety, advising locals to avoid confrontations over property disputes. "Please remember: No car is worth risking your life or getting into a confrontation over. If you see suspicious activity, call 911 immediately," the post read.
This warning follows a recent high-speed pursuit yesterday, involving officers and one of the suspected vehicle thieves.
