
The San Mateo County Sheriff's deputies intercepted a trove of illegal drugs after responding to a domestic disturbance report this morning. According to the San Mateo County Sheriff's Office, the incident unfolded at around 12:30 AM in a residence on the 900 block of Etheldore St.
The call that brought deputies to the scene involved a domestic disturbance, in which the adult victim suffered minor injuries but declined medical attention. The suspect, identified as 32-year-old Robert Hernandez, was not at the scene upon deputies' arrival. However, he was subsequently found near the area along with his vehicle. The search, which led to the discovery of an assortment of illegal substances.
Hernandez, currently on probation, was found in possession of a variety of drugs that included suspected MDMA, cocaine, and several hundred packaged pills in different colors. Law enforcement also confiscated scales and paraphernalia likely used for drug sales. This encounter led to Hernandez's arrest and booking at the Maguire Correctional Facility on multiple charges.
Detailing the charges, the Sheriff's Office reported, Hernandez was arrested and booked into the Maguire Correctional Facility for the following charges: 273.5(a)PC – Domestic Violence Inflicting Corporal Injury on a cohabitant, 236 PC – False Imprisonment, 11378 H&S – Possession of a Controlled Substance for Sale, 11379(a)H&S – Transport Controlled Substance for Sale, 11351(a)H&S – Possession of Other Controlled Substance for Sale, and 381(b) PC – Possession substance similar to Toluene.
