Residents in Multnomah County are advised to plan ahead, as most county offices will close on Tuesday next week, in observance of Veterans Day. The closure will affect a variety of services normally available to the public. As per the Multonomah County release, operations under the Multnomah County Health Department, including its clinics, will be closed, and phone, email, and telemedicine services will also be unavailable during the holiday.
Other departments, including the Division of Recording, Assessment, and Taxation, will also be closed. Residents needing paperwork processed or assistance through email or chat should complete their tasks before the weekend, as services will not resume until Wednesday next week. Multnomah County Animal Services will likewise be closed.
However, the Multnomah County Library will remain open and operate under regular hours, offering continued access to books and other resources.
All county offices are scheduled to reopen on Wednesday next week, with standard operating hours resuming.
