Munford Police Department's diligent work brought a burglary case to a close after a string of thefts rattled a local business on Quinton Drive. According to a social media post by the Munford Police Department, on October 20, a burglary was reported wherein tools worth over $10,000 were stolen from the premises.
The investigation rapidly unfolded over the following days, with officers executing two search warrants that ultimately located the stolen tools. Detectives named Joshua Walls as the individual allegedly in possession of the stolen items. Walls is now facing several charges, including theft of property over $10,000, possession of methamphetamine, and possession of burglary tools. His bond was set at $40,000. "Our detectives worked tirelessly to follow every lead and bring this case to a successful resolution. Their hard work and persistence reflect the dedication our department has to protecting Munford’s citizens and local businesses," remarked Chief Randal Baskin, per the Munford Police Department.
While the arrest of Walls signifies a significant development, the case remains active, and the possibility of further arrests has not been ruled out.
