Rutherford County's tech scene is now officially stamped with the approval of its very own Chief Information Officer, Cody York, as he clinched the Murfreesboro Technology Council Leadership award. The accolade, presented at the "The Future of Work Is Human + AI" event, is a tribute to York's role in shaping a stronger tech landscape for the city.
The award, assessed through nominations that trickle in throughout the year, is designed to spotlight individuals who not only lead but also continually innovate, pushing the bounds of what's possible with technology. "I’m deeply honored by this recognition," York said, as per the Rutherford County's official website. "Leadership in technology is never a solo effort—it’s the result of collaboration among dedicated teams who care about serving our community well."
Mayor Joe Carr, not one to miss an opportunity to sing York's praises, acknowledged the CIO's profound contribution to the city. "I’m fully aware of Cody’s expertise," Carr lauded, pinpointing the fortune of having high-caliber talents like York, per Rutherford County.
