
Navajo Nation witnesses a significant moment as President Buu Nygren recently honored the achievements of two new Navajo attorneys, Shania Kee and Shandiin Herrera. According to the official Navajo Nation President's website, the meeting on November 4 was to celebrate their success in passing the Navajo Nation bar exam and their commitment to serving their community.
President Nygren strongly believes in the power of educated professionals to return and fortify the Nation's foundations. He is quoted on the Navajo Nation President's website, saying, "Every decision I make, I consult with our attorneys. They help guide and support me so that every action we take is grounded in the law and in what’s best for our people." His support is evident as he wishes Kee and Herrera to have strong legal careers and reminds them to always be grateful for the family support that was instrumental in their achievements.
