
The Navajo Nation advanced its local infrastructure plans as President Buu Nygren met with Ganado Chapter leadership on Wednesday to address key community needs, including road maintenance and water line extensions. Ganado Chapter President Christopher White and Chapter Manager Larry Tsosie emphasized the importance of starting construction-ready projects and improving cemetery management, according to the Office of the President.
The meeting also focused on restoring essential services like the post office and ensuring road upkeep keeps pace with population growth. Community leaders emphasized detailed planning for broader infrastructure support to meet the chapter’s ongoing development priorities, as reported by the Office of the President.
President Nygren and division directors, including CDR Lyle Setwyn, Director of the Division of Sanitation Facilities Construction, discussed Ganado's infrastructure projects, providing updates and timelines for each initiative. Nygren "thanked Ganado leadership for presenting clear, solutions-oriented priorities," and said his administration will work with local entities to support ongoing development, as stated by the Office of the President.
