As Clarksville experiences rapid growth, the Tennessee Department of Safety and Homeland Security opened a new Clarksville Hornbuckle Driver Services Center on Wednesday to improve access to driver services. "This new center represents our continuing commitment to serve Tennesseans with excellence, dignity, and efficiency," said Commissioner Jeff Long, according to the Department of Safety and Homeland Security.
Located at 635 Hornbuckle Rd., the facility features expanded service counters, ample parking, Self Service Kiosks, and updated testing stations. These upgrades aim to streamline services for Montgomery County residents and surrounding communities, as reported by the Department of Safety and Homeland Security.
The Clarksville Driver Services Center opened to the public on Thursday to provide easier access to driver services. Assistant Commissioner Russell Shoup said, "This is about accessibility, making it easier for citizens to obtain the services they need, closer to home, with shorter wait times and improved technology." The center operates Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. and is designed to meet the growing demand for driver services in Clarksville, as stated by the Department of Safety and Homeland Security.
