
The New Orleans Police Department (NOPD) is currently seeking assistance from the public to locate a person of interest in connection with a recent homicide investigation. The individual, identified as Charles Ray Brown, a Black male born on September 5, 1990, is not wanted for any crime, but is believed to have vital information regarding a shooting that resulted in a death.
The incident in question took place on Brown's birthday this year, September 5, on the 1900 block of Esplanade Avenue. NOPD has made clear that Brown's role is that of a potentially informative witness. NOPD News reports, "Charles Ray Brown is believed to possess information important to the investigation into the homicide."
