
New Orleans authorities have issued a public call for assistance in locating Nadia Jae Coats, a suspect implicated in multiple offenses, including theft by fraud, identity theft, and the unlawful transfer of funds. As reported by the New Orleans Police Department News, Coats is accused of stealing a cellular phone on July 28 from the 300 block of Julia Street and allegedly using it to make fraudulent transactions.
The suspect, described as a Black female with a date of birth listed as October 23, 2002, purportedly leveraged the stolen phone to access the victim's accounts and initiate several unauthorized charges, the details of which was released by local police and the information concerning the charges against Coats, they have been made available to the public in an attempt to expedite her arrest and subsequent processing of the allegations laid against her.
