
The New Orleans Police Department is seeking assistance from the public in locating Ja'Cory Shamon Burton, a suspect wanted in connection with an armed robbery that took place in the 13700 block of Chef Menteur Highway. According to the NOPD News release, the incident occurred around midnight on March 6, 2025. Burton, described as a 6'2" Black male weighing approximately 245 pounds, is believed to have been involved in the robbery alongside at least two other unidentified suspects.
Detectives investigating the case have uncovered evidence linking Burton to the crime. A warrant for his arrest has been issued, but his current whereabouts remain unknown. The NOPD has described Burton, born on November 9, 2005, and has circulated a photograph to aid in his identification. The identity of the other suspects, including an individual who may go by the name "Lamonne," is yet to be confirmed, according to the NPOD News release.
