According to a Facebook post by Ogden City, residents should prepare for road closures set to facilitate the Santa Run, the Electric Light Parade, and a ceremonial lighting event.
Yesterday, a portion of Washington Blvd., specifically from 20th to 29th Street, will see a full closure from 12 p.m. to 8 p.m., during which the city will host the Santa Run starting at 4:30 p.m., followed by the joyful procession of the Holiday Electric Light Parade at 5:30 p.m. and a lighting ceremony in the Ogden Amphitheater slated for 6:30 p.m. with the grand illumination of fireworks and the Christmas Village lights concluding the evening.
A local official highlighted the importance of these events, stating, "We appreciate everyone’s patience as we prepare for one of Ogden’s most magical nights of the year," as per Ogden City.
